The refurbishment took place over 52 weeks and was 1.2M in value. The building was originally a house then night club with a large pool area and sound proofed basement area.
The refurbishment works took the property to a 5-bedroom house with 3 receptions rooms, a study, a large open plan new build kitchen area adjoined to the house, a new basement area consisting of a maid’s quarters, fitted gymnasium, sauna/steam wellbeing area with a lounge and bar.
The mechanical works consisted of installing a VRF system to all living areas, Mechanical ventilation to the basement, full wet underfloor heating to all areas and six wet room bathroom designs.
A cold-water booster set, and break tank formed the backbone of the water supply, coupled to an unvented hot water cylinder and return pump system. Two Vaillant boilers were installed in an outdoor plant area to allow building planning acceptance of the flue systems, utilising Uponor pre-insulated flow and return pipes under the garden infrastructure.
Control 4 was integrated into the Heatmiser Neo heating system, along with pool lighting, Audio visual systems to the bar and bedrooms and the remote entrance systems.
In addition, an allowance was made for a car turn table system as the drive way was insufficient for turning space
